Julianna is a couple weeks past 4 months old so I thought I would update on her progress.
- Her head has become more steady however her body still flops around as she is pretty aggressive.
- She seems to have started teething as her top is often damp from drool.
- Unfortunately she got sick for the first time and she has been crying a lot.
- During belly time she can hold up her shoulders for awhile however she still bops down and up.
- Julianna did try some banana pudding and she did like it however it was a treat not something she will receive often.
- Today or tomorrow we will pick up some organic peas and carrots. I will start her on carrots first. I don't believe in cereal because its a glucose product and rice contains arsenic plus it's bland and I prefer for natural things that aren't processed.
- Her weight is about 15/16lbs.
- She discovered she can chew on her hands a couple of weeks ago.
- When I place her in a nursing pillow with a blanket behind her she tries or actually sits up forward.
- She loves to munch on my fingers.
- Recently she learnt to grab things like my hair and Devon's necklace.
Overall Julianna is just such an amazing baby I love being her mother, she has tested me as a mother the past few days because she has been sooooooooo cranky from being sick however I know it's only because being sick is tough and probably really scary. I hope in the upcoming months I can keep her motivated so she can learn to sit up and eat well. From they're I hope she can crawl and then walk.
