Revlon Selects

 Hey everyone its Jess

Recently Revlon asked women of all ages and careers if they wanted to test out some new products I believe 500 women were chosen and I was one of them.

This is the first time I've been sent  products for free to review so in return I have and will be giving my readers and youtube viewers my honest opinion.

Revlon Nail Art Moon Candy "Orbit"

Pros- Dries fast, You only need 1 coat of the base color & 2 coats of the flakie top coat, Holds up well, Grittiness fades after your nails get wet, Looks great.

Cons- The scent is strong and unpleasant, Flakie top coat is very rough at first, minor chipping after a day.

Overall I believe this is a great duo if you want to try out the flakie nail look, the scent of the polish is unpleasant but most polishes are.

                                                          Revlon Diamond File
Pros- Chic, Works great, Easy to use, Perfect gift for the holidays.

Cons-Glitter has a gritty feeling a plastic overcoat would have been nice.

Overall I think this product is fantastic, it does its job and looks great while doing so!

Revlon Nail Art "Vincent Van Gold"
                                                        Still to be tested

First Impression- Two gorgeous colors that flatter each other, consistency appears to be opaque and fast drying.

                                             Revlon Photo Ready "Metropolitan" 501

Pros- Gorgeous shadows, Good pigmentation, Shadows Blend well, Wearable, Affordable.

Cons- Packaging is slightly misleading (you don't actually get a primer), I would of liked at least one matte highlight, pigmentation could of been a bit better, 2 shadows are a tad bit powdery.

Overall this palette is gorgeous, its super wearable however I would still use a primer and a matte highlighter with it. I do have high expectations for shadows but I keep in mind this is a drugstore palette and it is affordable ($10-$12) so I would recommend this because the shadows do wear nicely and they are gorgeous.

                                    Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede "Backstage"

(Keep in mind so far I have only swatched it I have not had a chance to wear it out)

Pros- Silky Texture, Nice Shine, Long lasting stain, Glides on, Affordable, Nice Packaging, Perfect shade for the Holidays.

Cons- You will need makeup remover to get off the stain.

Overall I believe Revlon has created the perfect lipstick, the colors goes on smooth and its build-able but once the lipstick fades your still left with a gorgeous lip color.

Well thats my review I hope you enjoyed reading it! Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays :)
