Extra stuff my kids got for Christmas

  If you already haven't checked out my what I got my kids for Christmas head over to YouTube and search glammama where you will find my channel and a video on most of the things I bought for them. In the post I will talk about some extra things they got and what I rate them out of 10 to help you decided if they're worth the buy.

My son
- Cars three pack from the Disney store. Overall the designs look great however they break super easily. They are affordable but the quality could and should be a lot better. 6/10
- Carters Pj's, excellent quality and can be passed on. Sometimes they only wear for several months but I've had some last longer and they are SUPER soft and cute and the price value is excellent. 9/10
- Hot wheels, a total classic and VERY durable and affordable. 9/10
- Star Wars Disney infinity pack with extra characters, a lovely gift from my parents and this is by far my sons favorite gift so it gets a.... 10/10! Price is pretty good too if you already own a ps4
- Giant hot wheels monster truck, he will receive it soon and from what I've seen it will be a hit, I believe it's called grave digger (a gift from his Nana) will be rated soon :)

Daughters gift
-Classically designed dolls of Anna & Elsa from the Disney store, super sparkly and cute with fun accessories and decent price point. 8/10
-Carters PJs, same rating as above :)
- Magnolia crystal necklace, absolutely stunning and amazing quality with a fair price point. 10/10
- American doll, a generous gift from my parents and it looks very similar to my daughter. The quality is excellent however it is very expensive to buy in Canada and because it's almost double compared to in America it gets a... 7/10
Not sure what she will receive from her Nana but it will probably be Dora or frozen related so I'm sure she will adore it :)

 So it's been a hot minute, a lot of personal stuff has been going on so I just took a little time off of blogging and focusing on fashion but I'm feeling more optimistic and inspired so here's a recent OOTD

Best Fall/winter Healthy Treat

 This dish tastes like a treat but it's actually my favourite snack and because it's a healthy snack you can have it as often as you like. 

 To make this apple dish you first need to select your favourite type of Apple. I used an organic Macintosh Apple. I then peeled it and sliced it into thin pieces, sprinkled a couple pinches of brown sugar on it and a tad bit of cinnamon then I wrapped them in foil and stuck it in the oven for 35 minutes at 390F. 

 The results are fantastic as the apples melt in your mouth and they taste divine. 

  Hope you liked this simple recipe and try it out of you already have not.

  This outfit was perfect for a very sunny warm fall day with a strong wind gust. I loved that it was loose fitting but chic & a little feminine but edgy.

Favourite shadows for Winter

  1 Stila Kitten

Gorgeous champagne that looks great on all skin tones and applies like butter. 

2 Sugarpill Tiara

Very sparkly/shimmery silver that adds flair to any look. 

3 Bobbi Brown fog

A perfect crease colour as it applies as a sheer matte grey/brown so it's very bendable and buildable. 

  

4 Urban Decay Damaged

 The perfect Christmas green in my opinion as it is rich and bold with a stunning metallic finish. 

 5 MAC blue flame 

A beautiful blackened blue with lots of blue shimmer. This looks gorgeous as lower lash liner or over a base all over the lid for a dramatic effect.

Top five shadows for Fall

  I love fall shadows so I wanted to show you guys some of my absolute favorites so let's get started!

First shadow is Angel by Urban decay

It's a beautiful taupe with fine silver sparkle, this is a great one eyeshadow color that can be applied all over the lid and look Brilliant!

 The next shadow is by Kat Von D an it's called deadhead. It's a beautiful burnt orange with micro gold glitter that looks amazing in the crease. 

 My third favourite shadow is a little unexpected and a recent favourite called crystal by Urban Decay. It's a cool baby metallic blue with lots of blue micro glitter. To me this screams Elsa and cool months ahead. This would be paired beautifully with a matte or satin grey shadow. 

 Now my fourth favourite shadow is Magic Act by Makeup Geek. It's a beautiful soft metallic light gold that I love to use in the inner corner of my eyes. 

 My last favourite shadow for Fall is shooting star by Too Faced. It is a beautiful blacked green with loads of gold shimmer. This looks beautiful as a all over the lid shadow, crease color or liner.

How to wear a pencil skirt

 Pencil skirts are very chic howeverthey can be tough to pull so based on your figure and what you feel comfortable with I have a few suggestions. 

  If you are feeling a little bloated or you're feeling a little self conscious about your stomach  then I suggest pairing a pencil skirt with a flowy top and tucking part of the top into the back of the skirt, this will also show off your butt and will look really cute. 

  A more bold look to really show off your figure is wearing a very tight top tucked into the pencil skirt. This is a really sexy daring look.

Weightloss!

  I've been a little MIA but life happens :)

 Anyways today I thought I would share some before and after pictures and some helpful tips on how I went from 128 to 117-118lbs and gained some muscle. (I'm 5'6 1/2)

 First I want to say that my goal was to loose some weight and gain a little definition. I never wanted to be super skinny or muscular. 

Tips 

1 Add light weights to exercises like squats and lunges

2 Track what you eat and count calories or macros 

3 Walk more often instead of driving to local places 

4 Drink lots of water

5 Don't under eat, you'll just store more fat later on

What's next for me?

Keep up with my normal workout but adding Cardio and lots of it to shed extra fat

Cheers to a great day, I may not be American or gay but I believe everyone has the right to love equally, one day one of my children may tell me they're  gay and I want them to have equal rights and feel accepted in this world, Americans influence a lot of other countries and my family is Canadian if one of my children did decide to move to the states it wouldn't be a far stretch so it's nice to know that they will have the rights that they deserve. Anyways today is a great day to be alive to witness such a wonderful movement 😄🎉

My favorite thing to cheat with!

  It's summer season so everyone is trying to loose a few pounds so they feel their best in more relieving clothes to deal with the hot and humid summer weather but of course everyone likes to treat their self to something that isn't the healthiest option. One of my favorite treats are the Starbucks fraps however the calories are up there! They range from the mid 100s and I believe some of them even hit the 600s depending on what type you get and the size. Now Starbucks did release the mini however it's not that much less then a grande so it's only so practical.

If you're like me and love a nice Frap on a hot day then treat yourself once a month to a grande but SHARE it with someone. My kids love them , that way we get to try the fun new flavors but it's more health conscious and I don't feel like I'm wasting money on the mini.
