MAC C-Thru Lipglass Review & swatches
Mac's C-Thru gloss is probably one of my all time favourites. It's just one of those colours that makes your lips look more luscious and plump. The creamy light nude gloss just melts into every lip colour so effortlessly, it really wears beautifully. My only problem with this gloss is that it is on the sticky side and as much as I love the vanilla scent it tends to go wonky rather quickly.
My overall rating is a 8.5/10. If you love a nice nude gloss and don't mind a gloss that's a bit tacky then I highly recommend checking this one out :)

Common White Girl Tag
Not a big fan of the name but I thought the questions were fun. I tag anyone else that's wants to do this. Leave a comment bellow with your answers if you want to.
1. Favorite starbucks drink?
Caramel Flan Frappacino.
2. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
I wash my hair at night so if its already flat ironed then I usually don't have to do much to it. If I'm just washing my face, putting on makeup and fixing up my hair and obviously getting dressed then it takes me about 40 minutes.
3. How many selfies do you take on a daily basis?
I don't take one everyday lol On a monthly basis I say I take a few.
4. How many IG followers and pics do you have? I keep my personal IG private. I have only like 20 people following and 545 pics.
5. Do you ever say "LOL" or "OMG" out loud? No!
6. Do you wear the same clothing item more than once? Of course! What a waste of money if I didn't...
7. Are you racist? (Why is this even a question)
I'm half black so clearly not...
8. How many tweets do you have?
Don't tweet.
9. Instagram, Twitter, or Tumblr?
Instagram for sure.
10. What do you spend most of your time doing?
Taking care of my toddlers :)
11. Who are your favorite youtubers?
I have so many! I love anna saccone, herlatenightcrazys, Samantha Sherman, makeuptia, xsparkage. I can go on all day lol
12. How often do you do your nails?
Not often I'm a busy Mama. I would say about 3 times a month if you include my toes.
13. Are you a shopaholic?
Guilty.
14. How many times have you watched Mean Girls?
Too many.
15. Do you own a lot of clothes?
I don't think so. I'm sure my boyfriend would beg to differ.
16. Do you take pictures of your food before you eat it?
Rarely.
17. Do you wear makeup everyday?
Nope. Only when I go out (most of the time). So about 2-3 times a week.
18. What are your average grades in school?
I don't remember. Probably high 70s.
19. How do you usually style your hair?
Straight and down or tied up on the side.
20. Do you always look presentable?
I try to :)
Goals for the next few years
Everyone always focuses on yearly goals however I think it's important to figure out what you want to happen within the next 3-5 years. That way your working towards things you want to achieve in a larger time frame and you can even switch them up if needed. Here are my goals.
2015. Save for a new car and get my daughter a grown up bed. I think kids should have a grown up bed when they are around 2.
2016. Get a new car and have a family vaca at the falls or in cottage country and hopefully move into a larger place.
2017. Leave Canada for the first time! Devon already has but I have not :( I'm not sure where I want to go yet but I would like to go for 3-4 days.
2017-2018. Decide if I'm really done having kids. At the moment I'm not sure to be honest. So during this time I want to decide and of course it won't just be up to me. I'm sure by then I will miss having a baby but I'm just not sure what our life will be like by then so I can't say for sure. Things can change a lot in just a few years but it is something I've been thinking about.
Anyways those are my goals for the next few years :) I'm hoping to accomplish them all. It will be neat to look back in a few years and see if I did do them all or if any of them were switched up or prolonged.
To those that are waiting for a makeup post I will have up one sometime this week. I think I'm going to do a tag next. Anyways here is a picture of some cute rings I got at forever 21 for only $4!

Tips for coping with wisdom teeth extraction
Tips for coping with wisdom teeth extraction
This is a little different from what I normally blog about but I think this will be very helpful for anyone that is expecting going through something similar especially busy lady's like myself.
1 Shop ahead of time for products that you don't have to chew like smoothie mix, milkshake ingredients, soup, apple sauce ect...
2 Put away some money, just incase you don't feel like making something ie I got my boyfriend to get me mashed potatoes from KFC.
3 Be prepared to bleed for awhile after the surgery. I recommended booger wipes because they will gently wipe away blood and keep a little pack of tissues with you because you will probably have bloody drool for awhile, hours at least.
4 Bring lip balm, my lips were soooo chapped after the surgery.
5 Listen to your dentist and take pain medication as required. I'm to take Advil for a week straight, 4 times a day to prevent infection.
6 If your like me and the corner/s of your mouth get injured and scab up just put some Argan oil on them. This will soothe the area and by the 2nd or 3rd day it should be returning back to normal.
7 Take some time off of work to recover. If your a stay at home mom like myself and you have a significant other get then to help out more.
8 When you wash your face be extra gentle the same goes for when you brush your teeth. I recommend using a extra strength cleanser and less toothpaste.
9 Try to sleep good, a good sleep well help you heal faster.
10 Last but not least just remember it won't last long and in no time you will be back to normal! I will update when I start feeling no pain and can eat normal again. So far it has been 3 days and I have been talking pretty good, and eating soft moods. Keep in mind so far I have only has my bottom left wisdom tooth removed.

Too faced Melted Fuchsia Review
I was so excited that my mouth has started to heal, a lot of damage was done after having a wisdom tooth removed. So I had to wait a few days for the outside corner of my lips to start looking normal.
BTW I might do a post on how to cope and still look good and feel good because it is pretty tough especially when your a busy lady like myself.
Anyways on to the review.
Application of the product is nice. It's a creamy but thin consistency and a little goes a long way. The application is nice and even. I like the packaging it's very cute and practical. The scent is a little off putting, think chemical cotton candy. I am very scent sensitive however this did not bother me because it is light and fades quickly. I found this wore pretty well even when I was drinking and eating, much better then most lipsticks however it is very smudge-able.
My overall rating for two faced melted lipsticks is a 9.5 out of 10. I really love this product, the colours are nice but I would love to see more! I think a dark raspberry, peach and a light nude would be stunning so fingers crossed for more.

Some kind-a gorgeous by Benefit Review
I decided to do a quick review for you guys. The some kind-a gorgeous is basically a foundation that drys to a satin powder finish. It has a very soft almost greasy texture. It applies well with finger tips. This product did not work out for me I found it didn't wear well on my oily skin and I wasn't a fan of the chemically smell. I did breakout while I tested this product.
Overall I rate it a 6.5 out of 10. It's ok but I expect more from a high end brand.
Too Faced Melted
Review coming soon!
I recently had a wisdom tooth pulled and my lip got busted up so I'm going to wait until later this week to do a review. I'll probably do a post soon of my April favourites :)

Hypergloss eye shimmer VS PRO
Now I have had this product for months and I loved it so much I used it very frequently however I kind of forgot about it until now.
This product is truly something special and worth checking out. It's a golden cream with lots of sparkle. It has no fall out and when worn with a primer I never had issues with creasing. A very little goes a long way and it applies beautifully.
My overall rating is a 10/10. I really can't think of anything wrong with this product. If you love some sparkle on your lids then this product is worth checking out :)

Spring Essentials
I decided to share some of my top picks for spring. Keep in mind I live in Ontario Canada, we get all four seasons however springs weather varies. It can be bright, hot and sunny, rainy and muggy as well as cool and gloomy.
My first essential is a pack of bobby pins. When its muggy out the last thing I want to is to have my hair all over the place.
My second essential is a body oil. On warm or muggy days I don't want to have on a thick lotion so I prefer I light weight oil. I like l'occitane almond oil however it is quite pricy.
My third essential is a bright and moisturizing lipstick. I love bright colours for spring but I want my lips to be soft and well kept. My favourite product for this is YSL's volupte shines. I will be pairing my new lancome 385 gloss in love with this.
My fourth essential is a light weight scarf. Scarfs are great because they add style to an outfit that may otherwise be quite simple. They also provide a bit of warmth for the cooler days.
My last essential are cream eyeshades. I find they hold up a bit better in rainy weather if you are using a well formulated one. My favourites are Dior mono fusions and urban decay cream shadows. I have went swimming with urban decays cream shadow on and it looked perfect after I got out of that water.
Hope you found this post helpful I will have up pictures later of some of the products mentioned :)

Lancome Gloss in Love
Today I picked up a couple of the new LancĂ´me Gloss in Love. So far I like them but is it love? I'm not sure yet so let me break them down for you.
Pros
- gorgeous high tech packaging ( press a button and the applicator pops up so you don't need to twist it open or closed!)
- applicator brush is soft and applies gloss evenly.
- gloss is a creamy soft consistency.
- good array of colours to choose from.
- moisturizing.
Cons
- price is kind of steep. You are defiantly paying for the packaging.
- I would describe these as semi sheer they are not as opaque as they appear.
- slight scent that smells a tad bit cheap.
- they wear nicely but fade quickly.
Overall rating is a 8/10, I do love these glosses but for almost $30 I expect more coverage and no scent or a pleasant scent. I think these are worth checking out however you really only need a couple because they are quite sheer and you won't notice a huge difference between the nudes vs nudes, same goes with the bolder colours.
Happy shopping.

Best hand cream
Josie Marans whipped Argan oil intensive hand cream is HG status. It not only smells fresh, sweet and delicious but it's very moisturizing and absorbs quickly leaving hands feeling soft and renewed. I have the mini but when it's used up I will be purchasing the full size. :)
Overall rating of a 10/10.
Would love to see more scents in the future!

Sparkly Smokey eye
To get this looked I applied Urban decays lace on my crease. I then applied Urban decays desperation on my crease closer to my lids and I blended them together then I dabbed Dior's etoile on my lids and layered Urban decays moonspoon over it. The last steps I did was apply Urban Decays gunmetal shadow under my bottom lashes and I lined my eyes with Stila's stay all say intense black liner. For mascara I uses Clinique's black high impact mascara and added on Sephora's outrageous volume mascara.
Sorry it took so long for me to update. Hope you enjoyed this look :)

My skincare routine
This is what I now use on a regular basis and my skin instantly looked better then ever by doing this routine for just a week! My skin is glowy, pores aren't clogged and my acne is almost completely gone. The few spots I have less are barely visible.
My skin started off with a fair amount of acne caused by silica and other types of silicone. My skin would get congested after just 3-4 days. I'm sharing my morning routine and in another post I will share my night time routine.
In 2 other posts I have mentioned the BHA 9 by Paula's choice that I use when needed (about twice a week) and I use the foam once a week at night however I will be putting that off for testing on a 10% aha by Paula's choice and that post will be up in a week or two.
ROUTINE (Morning)
Sometimes I wash my face in the morning using the purity cleanser however I tend to be lazy and just use Cliniques acne solutions toner on some Kleenex to wipe down my face. It does contain a lot of alcohol so I won't be using it once its done but for now it works.
I then follow with Paula's choice skin balancing pore-reducing toner. I pour some in a container and then apply it with my fingers. This helps hydrate my skin.
If I have any acne I use the Paula's choice clear 2.5% benzoyl peroxide treatment.
I then let that sit so I skip over to my eye cream. I don't have a favourite but today I used Bobbi brown hydrating eye cream.
Next I apply tartes maracuja oil. I have the rollerball version. I roll it onto my finger then dab it onto sections of my face.
Lastly I apply my nivia lip butter in vanilla and macadamia.
That sums up my morning skin care routine. It's basic and it works great. For that routine it cost about $100 Canadian keep in mind I used one sample and some smaller versions. For all full sizes it would be closer to $150+
