Weigh in 7

I am at 143lbs.

It's a pound up but honestly I'm not stressing because I am on my period which makes me hold a lot of water weight. I'm sure when I clean and exercise I'll be close to 142lbs or at it.

Keep in mind I didn't loose any weight because on Friday I went to the CNE and it was my biggest cheat day of the year. Overall I'm glad I didn't gain more.

My experience at the CNE with my family

Last Friday my mom, sister (Kenzie), Devon & our two babies as well as I of course went to the CNE which I believe is the biggest Canadian exhibition.

Devon and I woke up at 7-7:15 and we began to get ready for the day. I had packed our bag the previous night so I began my makeup as Devon took care of our son as he woke up right after us.

We left the house at 8:20 to go pick up my mom and sister. Unfortunately my dad had to work and my brother didn't want to go.

On the way there Devon got lost as usual ( he always seems to get lost in Toronto). We arrived sometime after 10. We then parked the van and walked about 5-10 minutes to the gates and paid for our tickets. First on our list was to go to the art building. Of course it was on the very end of the CNE. Once they're the shopping began I found a beautiful jewelled gypsy headband. We then went to the food building. Devon and I didn't know what to get so we left our son Mason with my mom and we got him pizza (he's extremely picky). Once he was eating we went exploring. The first thing we tried was a giant onion that was sliced and fried. It was ok nothing amazing, it wasn't coated or cooked that well. We then decided to have something we enjoyed last year which was a fried mars bar however Devon came back with that and a fried Twinkie for hisself. I tried it however I didn't like it because frying it made it taste doughy in a raw way. I was disappointed because the mars bar was also doughy. It just seemed like they were all rushing everything this year. Devon then went and got some ribs and fries he said the ribs were good. My sister had some Greek food and my mom had some Caribbean and Indian food.

Julianna got up and we played a bit she was very curious and enjoyed all the bright lights. After I changed her we went shopping. I got some Indian bracelets for myself & Julianna. Unfortunately I never found something for my son so I got him a couple new cars the following day. Overall there was a lot of nice things. I didn't buy much because I just made some big etsy purchases which you can expect to see in the weeks to come.

After shopping we went to the kids area. I took my son to the toddler area where they had a train set then my mom and sister took him to the park while Devon, Julianna and I got seats so we could see Barney. Once Barney came on we stayed for about 10-15 minutes and then we went to the magic house. It was the same as last year so we left and went to the animal building, Mason didn't like the animals lol We were all getting hungry so my mom and Kenzie went to the food building and I got some chicken strips and fries at a stand to share with Devon. Mason ate a pudding. The entire day Julianna was fairly good she would relax in the stroller and we would hold her now and then. Once we ate we went to the garden building where they had some amazing sand sculptures and after we went to the games and ride area. Devon went on a ride with my sister and we had a nice time.

The day was almost over so we headed to the entrance to see a small mardi gra parade. Mason actually enjoyed this even though you would never guess from his blank expression lol We then got a funnel cake with icing sugar and headed on home!

Overall we had a lot of fun. I didn't include every detail and it may not all be exactly in order. It was a very busy day lol however we had a nice time.

Weigh in

As of yesterday I am down to 142lbs. I'm pretty sure I lost two pounds because I ate pretty well and I got some exercise in despite being sick and I went on a nice walk with my family.

I am going to the cne this week and I will be trying different foods so I'm hoping all of the walking will keep me from gaining weight.

Btw follow me on Instagram.

Starting baby food

I started Julianna on baby food at 4 & a half months. I would say some babies are ready at 6 months but there are those babies like Julianna that show signs they are ready at four months and are excellent eaters at a younger then average age.

I believe in giving babies vegis then fruits and then when they have teeth and can chew I offer things like meat and pasta ect...

I am feeding Julianna organic baby food only. Organic is safer & healthier and the price difference isn't by much so why not.
I believe in giving her a new food every week/week and a half so she learns to like it. She has tried carrots and she grew to love them. At the moment she's trying carrots and peas to transition her to peas and she's had it 2 or 3 times so far and she's not fond of it but I'm sure she'll grow to like it within a few days. Next she will try just try peas, then she will try waxed beans, corn & sweet potatoes. If I can't find any other vegis I will start her on vegis mixed with fruits and then she will start getting fruits after she eats her vegis. I will then introduce more complex baby foods that have 3 or more ingredients. I use to buy my son one that was like apple crisp and he adored it.

Anyways this is just what I believe to be best for my daughter after plenty of research. Hope you found it insightful.

Fall Fashion 2013

Yes I am still sick however I'm in a major blogging mood because I'm so excited for fall fashion! My favorite trend has got to be the dark leather jacket. I am on a weight loss journey so for now I picked up a faux leather jacket from Suzy Shier. http://www.suzyshier.com/eng/categories/styles/jackets

The site doesn't show the jacket I got but I'll insert a picture at the end. I love the jacket because its super soft like real leather its really nice quality, its comfy and warm. I will wear it with dark denim and my leopard Sam and Libby flats. http://www.target.com/p/women-s-sam-libby-adley-tuxedo-flat-leopard/-/A-14411178#prodSlot=medium_1_57

For the days I want to be really comfy I'll just wear my faux leather jacket with yoga pants and tall boots. I have a black pair of knee highs from sears and I have a not as tall pair from aldo and they are medium brown and have a knit top.

An on going trend I am loving is the peplum look. The tops are cute but I really love the peplum skirts. At first I wasn't sure if the trend was right for me because I have a fabulous ass that's already curvy however the peplum skirts just makes it look even better and I think it will really help out the ladies without a curvy booty. Check out my youtube video for the peplum skirt trend and the next trend I will be talking about ;)

The last trend that I'm really loving is the military green color. It's a universal color that will work on everyone in my opinion, if you don't believe me check it out for yourself. Sirens has a great selection anyways I hope you enjoyed this post. Excited for any trends? Let me know! :)

Blog slacking

Long story short we went to an amusement park and ended up catching a cold. Blogging everyday is unrealistic for me personally so I'm going to try to blog 2-3 times a week. At the moment I'm sick so I don't really have anything to talk a out. I'm waiting for a order if really nice jewelry to come in so I'll eventually have a post about that but atm nothing new or exciting is going on. Anyways I'll leave you with a uber cute picture to make up for this dreadful post lol

Where does the time go?

Weigh in 5

So my last weigh in was actually 141lbs and I'm up to 144lbs. I did eat super bad on Friday when I went to an amusement park and I'm bloated. I will do another weigh in on Wednesday or Thursday for a more accurate weigh in.

Is it worth it?

When I want to eat something that is fatty and just has little to no nutritional value I try to think is it worth it?

Am I willing to exercise extra hard later to loose the weight?

So next time your tempted to indulged ask yourself those questions.

Happy weight loss! :)

Weigh in 4 I think?

I know I wasn't going to do a weigh in but I couldn't resist.

I checked the scale like 4 times because I thought it was reading wrong I even checked my sons weight however I am down to 139lbs!

Honestly I don't know how I lost 7lbs in a week. I did a lot of walking on Thursday so I think that made a huge difference to be honest I haven't been keeping up with exercise and my diet hasn't been as balanced but I guess the walking for hours with a double stroller really helped keep in mind I had some help. Plus I stopped pumping a few weeks ago so I believe my body is finally letting me loose that extra pregnancy weight.

If anyone else is on a weight loss journey I hope you're doing just as well! :)

Baby feet!

Since I'm delaying my weigh in I thought I would share my baby girls über cute baby feet! I just love her toes.

Weigh in on Wednesday!

I've had a killer migraine for 2 days now so I have been unable to exercise and prepare proper meals so I'm delaying the weigh in. I know that the results will be discouraging if I weigh in tomorrow so I rather wait as I believe it's a wise choice.

Staying Confident when you're not confident in your body

Now for me this is something I have learnt to do and honestly it isn't easy. Yes I do wish I was a lot slimmer however I'm confident knowing I'm taking steps to turn that wish into a reality and to be honest that what makes me feel confident in my current figure.

Weight comes and goes, your appearance isn't everything what really matters is that your the type of person you could be proud of for example I want to be the type of person I want my children to be.

I want to be confident, truthful, loyal and giving. Those are traits I want my children to have, those are traits to be proud of. I'm not the friendliest person due to my social awkwardness and let's face it a lot of people these days have there heads stuck up they're own ass. I'm a firm believer in equality. I don't believe I'm better then anyone else, all humans have the same value however morally I think I do come off as a more well rounded person then most. I'm not ashamed to admit that, it might sound a egotistical but I just have a caring heart and it seems like people forget to care about other people. They could just flip through a channel and hear about children dying and not think twice however I'm brought to tears practically because I'm extremely sympathetic. Sympathy is probably the best trait someone could have for others. Without sympathy we would just be monsters.

Struggling with weight can make you feel more judgemental towards others because subconsciously it empowers you and makes you feel "better" then them. What you need to realize is everyone has some issues they're trying to work on and appearances only portray a part of us what really matters is who we are as a person. You need to feel good about yourself and you also need to physically feel good by staying healthy.

This post was a bit all over the place but I hope it helped. Just remember be the person you would want your kids to be.
