Everyday Makeup

Everyday makeup

I decided to list my very basics. I will have up a video within a few months going into detail but I think it's fun to know what other people use so I thought I would share with you the products I use as "everyday" makeup

Side notes----- My skin is combination with hormonal acne. Not including eyeshadows or lipsticks because that changes frequently. I will include what highlighter Holy Grail go to even though I use several.

1 Lip mask
2 Too faced shadow insurance
3 Urban Decay on the run palette dark brown matte shadow for brows
4 ELF eyelash curler
5 MAKE UP FOR EVER original smokey lash mascara
6 Revlon grow luscious  deep brown mascara for bottom lashes
6 Clinique acne solutions foundation
7 Sonia Kashuk light concealer palette
8 Too Faced chocolate  bronzer
9 Benefit Watts Up highlighter
10 Urban decay oil control setting spray.

Overall these products work great for me. I have to say if you can only try 3 I would highly recommend checking out Benefits Watts Up highlighter, it looks great on all skin tones and isn't too bold. I've been using Too Faced shadow insurance for 6 years almost so I think it's a staple and the lip mask is a new must have for me because it's the best lip conditioner, it will make your lips soft and plump so lipstick glides on effortlessly.

Hope you enjoyed this post <3

Toddler hygiene routine

Today I thought I would share what products I use on my kids during bath & shower time/after.

My daughter has the most complicated routine because she has a lot more hair that needs to be blow dried and she has very sensitive dry skin that's eczema prone. My sons hair is short, air dries and his skin is normal.

Daughters routine
1 Lush snow fairy- I add this to running water in her bath tub. This gets her clean and smells like candy.
2 One n' only Argan repair shampoo- This cleans her hair but doesn't leave it dry.
3 First Aid beauty repair lotion- I tend to use this on her face to prevent eczema.
4 Philosophy cream body lotion- It's good but not great, it's working to help prevent her eczema and keep her smelling nice however I would like something more moisturizing.
5 Bumble & bumble BB cream, this is something new I'm trying. First impression, it's light, gives volume and doesn't leave her hair too frizzy. It also doesn't weigh it down. So far I would rate it a 8/10.

Sons routine
1 Lush Hot Toddy-Great for hair and body however it is very strong scented, I will probably switch him back to it's  raining men wash by LUSH if they still sell it, it smells like caramel and honey.
2 B&BW Vanilla bean Noel- It's a unisex scent that smells great and keeps his skin hydrated.
3 Dove men's styling paste (not shown)- Keeps his hair in place, it's nice but nothing special.

I hope this posts gives you some ideas on what may work for your child :)

FYI I am on the hunt for a light conditioner for my daughter. If I find one I'll make a post.

Favourite nude lip

Today is St Patrick's Day and I think nude lips go great with the colour green!

My favourite nude lip duo at the moment is baby lips crystal lip balm in twinkling taupe and in the centre the body shop honey bronze lip balm 👄

My experience with at home waxing

First I want to say I bought the Gigi wax warmer and supplies. I might do more in depth reviews of certain products if I see fit.

So what to use if you want to wax fine hair that's on your arms or legs?
Soft all purpose wax, muslin strips, pre-epilation powder and sticks.

How did it turn out? Overall I'll say 8.5/10. It was fast, pretty effective, didn't irritate my skin and the results lasted a week. The biggest downside to this is after excess wax removal and it takes a lot of wax for such large areas.

What to use for a Brazilian or other corse hair?
Defiantly hard wax meant for Brazelians & oil. (I couldn't find it at the store so I used almond oil).

Results?
9.5/10. Lasted a week & a half close to two weeks. Let me just say using oil before hand is crucial otherwise it will be excruciating and not that effective. If done right a at home Brazelian is easy to do and safer in my opinion then going to a salon because you don't need to worry about STI's.

If you do try waxing at home do a lot of research and be safe :)

OOTD

Inspiration

Pants- Freddy WR UP (bought mine from livify)
Bracelet & Bra- Victoria's Secret

Buying my first Louis Bag!

For my birthday this year I decided I really want a Louis. I am a mother of two and I believe mothers should treat there self now and then. So I asked my boyfriend if he would pay half if I save half and he said yes.

Now I have about 5 months to decide which one too but  buy... My price range is about $1000-$1200 CAN.

At the moment I'm not sure if a small cross body is the way to go or a shoulder bag. I'll attach a couple pics to show the two I'm eyeing.

As a mother small crossbody bags are convenient however they don't fit much, larger tote styles can fit more however they can feel bulky. Overall I think the deciding factor will be which one is better quality.
