Nails Inc The Donmar Collection

Once I saw this on the Sephora web site I new I had to check it out. On the site it appeared to be a dark base nail polish with a glittery iridescent 3D top coat.  It was eye catching and edgy, a couple months ago I purchased the magnetic nail polish by nails inc and I loved the results and how easy it was to get the effect so I had high hopes for this product.

In the set you get the dark base (Plum Black Chelsea Polish) as well as the iridescent glittery top coat (The Donmar Overglaze Top Coat). Both polish's are .33oz

I first Applied my Sally Hansen base and top coat then the Plum Black Chelsea Polish, I noticed the polish was very runny and took 2 coats for a even application. I then applied the Donmar Overglaze Top Coat. As soon as I applied it I realized just how glittery and iridescent it really was I was super excited to see the effect up close. I applied two coats and waited a few minutes to reapply my Sally Hansen base and top coat to set it. After 15 minutes of waiting I noticed the polish still wasn't completely dry, even though I was very careful it still smudged a few times and I had to do some touch ups. After about 45mins - 1 hour it was finally dry.

Results :)

I now have been wearing the polish on for 4 days and its chipped in quite a few places :( . After the 2nd day it started to chip slightly... Keep in mind I am a busy Mommy of a 8 month old so my hands go through a lot!

Over all I would give this product a 7/10

   Pros- Looks Great
             Unique
             You get two polishes

   Cons- Takes forever to dry
            - Chips easily
            - You cant buy the over glaze separately

Even though the dry time sucks I still love how it looks on my nails, I would recommend a top coat that helps polish dry faster :)
